Almost Historically Low Water Levels – October 2020

This is the second lowest water level on record for Caribou Lake, but many report this being the lowest they can recall seeing. Check out this video series submitted by Tom Romundstad to see areas of the lake many can’t get to right now.

Tom was working on piloting the boat, navigating these low levels, and simultaneously shooting video and narrating – nice job. The first stop is in the Southwest corner of the lake before heading up to the Northwest corner of the lake outlet and beaver dam area. We turned it into a YouTube video to see all 4 videos at once showing the outlet, creek, and beaver dam areas. You will also see lake bottom that isn’t typically exposed. Enjoy!

Thank you Tom and Chica for sharing with your Caribou Lake neighbors!
