There are two public water access points on Caribou Lake: 6080 Birch Point Road and at the end of Holly Lane. Birch Point Road is maintained by the DNR and has ample parking and restroom facilities. The Holly Lane is maintained by the township and is a water access point; however, does not provide these same amenities. Most Caribou Lake visitors will find that the Birch Point access is most accommodating and accessible.
Birch Point Road DNR Public Access
Ample signage greets visitors to the public access point and provides basic information on the lake and public water access rules.
The driveway allows vehicles with boats/trailers back-in access to the lake and pull through parking while enjoying the lake. The ramp access is concrete with a dock for ease in loading and unloading watercraft. As always, ensure aquatic invasive species rules are followed and protect the lake. Enjoy your visit to Caribou Lake!
