A few of us woke up to a perfectly calm lake this morning with a noticeable film on the shoreline. The association has determined that this was caused by a leaky seal on one of the harvester fluid lines. It was made very obvious by all of the pollen that has fallen into the lake from surrounding trees in the last few days. We would like to assure every lake owner that the fluid used in the harvester is a non-petroleum, biodegradeble lubricant authorized by the Minnesota DNR. As such, this leak will not cause any permanent damage to our water. The DNR has been notified of this situation. We apologize for any concern that this may have caused you. Thanks, the CLA
